Charity Shop trawl 'n' haul with Jan!

On Saturday I met up with the delightful Jan from Aerograms from Jan, another Dublin-based blog. We had an awesome day getting to know each other and as we chatted away, we managed to pop into no fewer than twenty city-centre charity shops! I think you could term it 'when enthusiasts unite'... Well, we both have plenty to show for our busy day, with Jan scoring a beautiful Christian Dior blouse for €2.50. That's quite good, right?!!!
Along the way we stopped at a great Polish bakery on Capel St. to snaffle some delicious traditional treats.

The lovely Jan

Nom, nom and nom

 What I wore -

Tights: Gift
Ankle boots: Clarks Sale

Vintage belt: My Mum's

My Saturday finds
 A gorgeous faux fur stole

 A darling vintage evening bag

A not at all OTT heart-shaped lemon tree photo frame

 A lovely vintage glass bowl

A completely terrifying alien/stag's head, complete with suckers on the back

A floaty Sandro shirt with a great 1970s-style pattern

A pretty vintage plate

Phew! I'm all bargained out. Here's a couple more outfit shots from the past few days (including  one where I am re-wearing an outfit from last week, the photos of which I accidentally deleted) before I leave you to consider Dublin as the European capital of charity shops...

Necklace - C&A, Paris
Shoes - Zara Sale

My deleted outfit, back again -
Vintage skirt - Free'p'star, Paris
Vintage Pringle cashmere top - My aunt's

  15. I can't believe all the great stuff you constantly seem to find! I guess Dublin really must be the best in the world for charity shops.

I like that pheasant sweater a lot. It's quirky but still is really stylish.

I love meeting up with other bloggers, it's always such a treat. Finally someone to talk to who actually KNOWS about the blogosphere and cares about what you're taking about. It's lovely, isn't it? Both you and her look gorgeous, too!
