Finds and foes

Finds: charity shop treasures from this week. Foes: the demon that makes you accidentally press the delete button on a bunch of pictures from the past couple of days. Grrrrrrr at self.

These were the earrings, a charity shop buy earlier in the week, which had inspired yesterday's outfit:

 Vintage coral/black earrings: Oxfam, Dublin

It was a lovely outfit, with an indescribably awesome vintage skirt. All bright and colourful. I'll wear it again, promise. Now back to black - my trusty pinny and my new House of Holland for Pretty Polly tights. You likey, or do you think they're totally Eiffel?

I've pimped up my heeled black patent brogues with black satin ribbon instead of laces - flounce indeed.

Here are today's charity shop finds:
 A fitted Betsey Johnson corset top.

 An indispensable spoon-holding spaceship.

A Prada-esque cornflower blue sweater - I've been looking out for something cable-knit in this colour all winter. I'll wear this belted with a skirt and a cosy snood.

And finally, the beautiful brooch I won over on Jan's topnotch blog Aerograms from Jan arrived in the post today! Thanks so much, Jan! I look forward to rocking out this vintage beauty - with her fetching poodle and well-travelled suitcase - tomorrow morning.

  11. haha, eiffel tights, snort! Well, now that I've gotten that over with.... ; ) Great charity shop finds! My charity shops seem all to aware when something's a bit designer and mark it up accordingly. By the way, there is some program you can download to recover accidentally deleted pictures. I tried once, but unfortunately lost the memory card in the meantime....grrr
