Man in the mirror

My dear aunt has been very, very ill since last Saturday. Please send her good vibes. These are some pics from the last week - as a fashion fiend herself, I'm sure she'd want me to keep on posting.
I look forward to catching up on all your blogs over the next few days.

 Details
Trousers: Primark
Top: Petit Bateau, Charity Shop
Cardi: Calvin Klein, via TK Maxx
Man face brooch: Lazy Oaf
Heeled brogues: New Look

- As seen in mirror -

- Make brogues more interesting with ribbons for laces -

 Details
Wool tank: Primark

Shoes: Schuh sale
Scarf: Paul Costelloe for Dunnes, on sale
Belt: See by Chloé, Sample Sale, London

- Do you see my awful repair job? A super-glued pearly button had to suffice to restore symmetry -

Recent Charity Shop Snaffles
An unwanted Christmas present from Urban Outfitters - but one which has made my lunchtime a bit more fun this week.

Outrageous earrings from River Island - again, brand new and given up on.

A lovely Wedgewood cup to add to my china collection.

P.S. A Belated Happy Valentine's Day to you all. We popped over to see the Shrine of St. Valentine in Whitefriar Street Church. It's definitely worth visiting if you're around Dublin. On the 14th February itself, it proved a wonderful antidote and tranquil alternative to all the pink-tinged commercialism of his feast day. Not that I don't love that a little bit - I think now more than ever we need a day that reminds us to mark our love. And I couldn't get enough of people running around the town with all sizes of rose bouquets.

Two beautifully colourfully outfits made even lovlier with the pimped up shoes. How cool in that lunchbox? That's enough to brighten-up the dullest of work days. xxx

Love the ribbons as laces on the brogues and I thought your repair job on the flats is pretty good. And I had no idea there was a shrine to St Valentines in Dublin!
