Vintage floral blouse - My Mum's, Jeans - Dunnes, Bangle - Dublin charity shop, Vintage Irish-made handbag - present given to my aunt, Belt - Next sale, Sunglasses - Céline, via TK Maxx
Paris has been hitting the high twenties all last week and more of the same is predicted in the coming days. The maroon polonecks and suede boots and faux fur stoles are all irrelevant for now. Is November really only a couple of weeks away?
I've been weathering the confusion with jeans and plenty of vintage blouses and tops. Here's my absolutely favourite one, which my Mum wore in the 1970s. I forgot to organise a full-length picture - in any case, my go-to smart casual footwear is a pair of pointy-toed flats and nothing's as versatile as black patent.

Before I chopped down my fringe as per yesterday's shot, I spent Friday debuting a fab hairband and a very special necklace that dear Vix had sent me. I shall be wearing this gorgeous necklace a lot as not only is it incredibly cool and chic, but I am not allowed to wear my usual little cross and chain in work (France's secularist laws). I love the chic playfulness of the shapeable headband too - Vix is one very talented lady!
Hope you are all enjoying some form of sunshine wherever you are!
PS - It's been just over a month since I pledged not to buy anything new for myself. And do you know what? So far it's been absolutely fine! I've not tired of anything and have been excited about trying out different things from my existing wardrobe. Perhaps this year off is a real and achievable aim after all!
